PECO was Founded in 2019 when two friends (Gidion and Joseph), celebrated their birthdays by going to a local village to spend time with those in need.For their birthday celebration, they delivered food to people in the village who were in need. with the vision is to engage hearts, transform lives, erase boundaries, and provide exceptional support and resources that will empower elders to thrive and age gracefully within their communities.
Support Peco Sustainability Products
The “Nourishing Our Elders” project by PECO focuses on sustainability and supporting elders through two key initiatives: farming and coffee production. In 2021, PECO launched a farming project, leasing five hectares to grow maize and beans, with 40% of the harvest donated to the NGO, increasing support for elders from 25 to 40. Additionally, PECO introduced a sustainable coffee brand, “PECO COFFEE,” sourced from local eco-friendly farms. Around 60% of profits from the coffee sales are used to fund food and shelter assistance for elderly community members, fostering independence and strengthening community bonds.
